ONA Heavy In
Vietnamese Airlift

ONA Horizons
ONA played a significant part in
the Vietnamese refugee program.
The Company operated several dozen
flights carrying refugees from the
western Pacific to various military
installations in the United States.

At the very beginning of the program,
ONA´s DC-10 aircraft were sent directly
to Clark Air Force Base in the
Philippines for several flights.
Guam, however, was the departure point
for most flights during the first months
of the MAC contract with frequent
pick-ups in Wake Island.
