I had the pleasure of being on the same crew as Captain Tom Patterson at least on one occasion, that I remember. We were assigned a flight from La Guardia NJ via Anchorage with destination Tokio, for a shuttle ending in Vietnam, Kamh Ranh Bay, Hanoi. We were crossing the international dateline to land in Tokio, this time staying at the Hilton Hotel. If I recall right Tom had the same birthday as I have, February 8. First we celebrated in Tokyo with the full crew and then one more birthday party as we crossed over the dateline again in the Pacific, returning to the States! It is with fondness and love that I think back of myself in the US, flying as a stewardess with Overseas National Airways! All you people out there, what a joy to have lived this! HEY HEY ONA!
