ONA crew in mourning
Missing Charlie Bare

Charlie Bare, an ONA LogAir pilot and good friend who lead many ONA pilots into "New York Air" which later merged successfully into "Continental Airlines" died Tuesday, October 5th, 2004 of cancer.
Charlie was Chief Pilot at New York Air and later became Chief Pilot of both Cleveland and Newark bases at Continental. He was a leader whose door was always open, a pilot advocate always and at heart one of ONA's own.






Charlie Bare was with ONA in the 1970's on the DC-9. Several pilots from the Logair days will remember Charlie´s memory remembering the joy of having had him as a friend. ONA crew extend their deepest felt condolences to Charlie´s family.
